Today, I would like to introduce ACRONYM.
I think most people know this brand.
It's the king among brands in this genre. King.
Recently, our store has been focusing on clothes made from natural fibers, but I've always wanted something like this for a long time.
So, I started looking around both overseas and domestically.
Because I thought it was just one brand.
Previously, we had handled Norwegian Rain, but ever since we stopped handling that, that slot remained open.
Honestly, I think I saw a lot of things.
However, none of them were completely convincing. For me.
Information about ACRONYM is very closed, so I don't know where or how to contact them, but luckily I had a connection with them, so I was able to spend some time talking with them.
Then, the time has come for the brand side and our timing to match.
So I went to a place where you can see brand collections and took a look.
Then, it's here after all. That's what I thought.
So I decided to handle it.
So, this time we are starting on a sunny note.
ACRONYM.
Well, basic information about the brand can be found by searching on the internet, but it all started in 1995 when Mr. Errolson founded the company with his partner.
At that time, he seems to have been active as a black child in manufacturing.
It seems that he started his own label, Acronium, in 2002, and he has exactly what he is aiming for.
At the time, when I was traveling around the world doing work for clients, I went to many different climates, including cold, hot, and rainy places.
So, what I felt was
“Casual wear that can be worn comfortably in any environment”
I want to create.
So that's exactly what ACRONYM is aiming for.
Made with the best materials and technology, it can be worn in a variety of environments.
Aiming for the "best casual wear".
So, as a brand, ACRONYM clothes are
I think of it as "casual wear."
Casual wear made with the best materials.
However, it is always evolving, and I think it has to be something that evolves.
When it comes to brand collections, there is no such thing as a "standard" item that continues to appear.
It's always changing.
That is ACRONYM.
First of all, this time, we have 4 types, so I will introduce them a little.
ACRONYM
Gore-Tex 3L Pro Rider Jacket
material _ Gore-Tex Proshell 3L
color_BLACK
size_S,M,L
The best, top quality Gore-Tex.
A rider jacket using 3-layer "Proshell".
Mr. Errolson works with Acuronium as an advisory staff member for Gore-Tex, so when Gore-Tex's best products are used or new products are developed with Gore-Tex, he is the first in the world to do so. It looks like it will be used in ACRONYM.
It's a 3-layer pro shell with a unique crisp texture, but I think it will be super comfortable.
And about the "casual wear" I mentioned earlier.
As a symbol of this, the brand values the fineness of sewing, especially the movement of the hands.
One example is the fineness of the sewing pitch.
The more I see this point, the more I notice that it is made with much more detail and care than other "tech" clothing.
Most of the time, these types of items have disappointing stitching, but ACRONYM is not at that level at all.
It seems that production was previously carried out in the Czech Republic, but in order to "constantly evolve" it is now located in Hong Kong.
It took three years to build various machines and set up the equipment, and the site where acuronium is produced has the ``best equipment in the world'' for this type of clothing.
Grosgrain tape with hook-and-loop fastener on neck part designed to fit properly and high.
The opposite side has the same tape, but this side has a built-in magnet.
AirPods can be attached to it.
If you don't use this, it also comes with a tape with a brand logo on it, so it might be a good idea to do that.
As a brand, what is distinctive about it is its pockets.
On the right side, a pocket with a gusset.
On the opposite left side, there is a gussetless pocket, but both have pockets not only on the front side but also on the back side.
Another characteristic of ACRONYM is that it is full of amazing pocket details.
Since it is a rider jacket, it has a deep front.
The double zip part shown in the photo is a pocket.
Can be opened and closed from either top or bottom.
The reason why the zipper pulls are different is so that you can feel it even when your eyes are closed.
Inside is a snap.
This snap button is also very thoughtfully designed.
The snaps are not driven directly into the main body, but are attached to tape.
Therefore, during installation, you can insert your fingers to support it.
These clothes are full of well-thought-out details.
If you remove the hood that can be removed with a snap, it will give you an even more rider-like feel.
And then another zipper appears.
When tightening the neck, open and close it here.
The lower part of the zipper is swung.
The cuffs are adjustable with hook-and-loop fasteners,
Zipper on the inside sleeve.
This allows the cuffs to be opened and closed smoothly with the zipper once the cuffs have been secured with the hook-and-loop fastener.
Easy and speedy putting on and taking off is also one of the brand's characteristics.
The hood has multiple darts that form a rounded shape that fits the head.
The inside is full of seam tape.
Since it is Pro Shell, its water repellency is also excellent.
This rider jacket has seam tape on all seams.
Inside.
Comes with a jacket sling that you can take off and carry on your back.
This can be removed, or it can be attached to the outside rather than the inside, depending on the situation.
and,,,
Back side.
Amazing arm curvature and inner structure.
Perfect seam tape no matter where you look.
The structure is complicated and the seam tape is crackling.
A bundle of security.
This rider jacket is available in 3 sizes.
Size S for people around 160cm.
Size M is around 170cm to late 170cm.
It looks like a size L and around 170cm.
Well, it depends on your physique.
It's mobile and has a great fit.
ACRONYM
Schoeller Dryskin Wide Drawcord Trousers

pants.
This is also very good.
It allows you to move stress-free and is very suitable for long-distance travel.
The fabric is from a Swiss company called Schoeller, and is a high-quality functional material.
Super comfortable fabric that is water repellent, breathable, and stretchy.
The large waist can be adjusted with a cord.
Like the jacket earlier, these pants also have a lot of ACRONYM nuances.
The length is short and the waist setting before tightening is large, so we carry three sizes from XS to suit petite people.
It's already a pocket that looks like it could hold something.
The opposite too.
Pocket with gusset.
Of course, a still water zip.
When you open it, you will notice that it has quite a large capacity.
On top of that, there is also a pocket that utilizes switching.
back.
As you can see, the gusseted pocket mentioned earlier also has corners, giving it a unique shape.
The back pocket has a hidden pocket opening, but it also opens and closes with a waterproof zipper.
Circular switching reinforcement on the buttocks.
There is also a gusset on the inner thigh that allows you to spread your legs wide.
Tuck on the knees.
As expected, here too, the sewing pitch is careful and beautiful without any flaws.
I feel very relieved when I see things like this.
It's a reliable way to make clothes.
The knees on the back of the body are also frequently switched.
And maybe from the shin area?
Similarly, Schoeller's ounce is different, and the fabric is slightly thinner and has more stretch performance.
This area will give you a better fit.
It's a nice fit though.
And this is also the back.
If you look at the back of ACRONYM's pants, you can instantly tell the complexity of the pocket structure.
This spec is amazing.
However, once you get used to it and can use it properly, it is extremely convenient.
They have a bag-like shape that I've never seen before in other pants.
More will appear when you turn the page. lol
Inside back of waist.
It's clear that they put a lot of thought and consideration into not only the fabric and pocket design, but also the structure of the clothes themselves, such as the construction of the endpapers and piping specifications.
I think it's very rare for this type of clothing.
Schoeller tag.
ACRONYM
Schoeller Dryskin Gakuran Jacket
material _ Schoeller Dryskin + 3XDry
color_Black
size_S,M
Here.
Like the pants above, this jacket is made from Schoeller Dryskin fabric.
This is the first tailored jacket in ACRONYM, which boasts a history of over 20 years since the brand started in 2002.
Includes shoulder pads.
Because the sleeves are high, the raising and lowering of the hands is tailored.
However, since Scherer's fabric has excellent elasticity, it is very comfortable to follow on your back.
As the name suggests, the motif is the Japanese school run.
When you say "Gakuran," it sounds like a Gakuran, but it's actually the brand's first type of jacket.
Also, I ordered it purely because I was attracted to the beauty of its shape when worn and its excellence as a stand-up collar jacket.
Stand collar specifications.
Mr. Errolson was attracted to the Japanese school run, and based on that, he created the ACRONYM version.
As I said earlier, this jacket's shoulder outline and waist shape are very well made.
To achieve this, there are darts and switches at the waist.
Of course, the pockets with large capacity are still available.
All fronts have snap button closures.
The area where the buttons fit is also designed so that you can put your finger under the snap receiver.
This makes it much easier to use when fastening.
The cuffs have ACRONYM-style main faces.
This jacket is also equipped with tailoring, so there are no stitches on the front.
The back is fully lined.
It comes with a jacket sling, so you can carry it on your back once you take it off.
The underarm areas have been replaced with mesh.
This part is also made of mesh, so if you look through the fabric at the shoulder, you can see the built-in items such as shoulder pads.
What's up with ACRONYM's jacket like this? If you are interested, it might be a good idea to take a look at the structure of the shoulder. lol
There are facings on the back of the placket and on the hem.
The back is also very beautiful.
Can you see it?
Last-minute edge stitching on the hem facing.
This is the first time I've seen such precision with a brand that uses this kind of fabric.
I think this level is also an important element for a brand that has fans all over the world.
ACRONYM
Schoeller Shape Wide Leg Pants
material_Schoeller Shape+3XDry
color_Black
size_S,M
Finally, here.
This fabric is from Scherer in Switzerland, but the touch is slightly different.
An image that is lighter.
And these are the brand's first wide-leg 2-tuck pants.
The image of these pants seems to be that of a school uniform.
Errolson said he thought of the pants worn by delinquents.
The fabric is different from the stand-up collar jacket I mentioned earlier, but I think it's a good idea of the style.
2 tuck front specifications.
There are no stitches on the outside of the pants except for the placket.
If anything, the image may be similar to wide pants from collection brands.
However, I think most of those brands are woolen fabrics like 100% Wool.
ACRONYM uses high-spec fabrics that can be found all over the world, creating a completely new genre of pants.
The front has a zipper opening and closing, and a snap is included, but the belt prevents the front from opening completely.
Grosgrain tape is inserted into the pocket opening.
This gives it hardness, makes it easy to tell where the pocket is when you touch it, and greatly increases the durability of the pocket opening.
Also, there's a hidden pocket right below this pocket, so I guess it's so you can tell the difference between it and that one just by touching it.
Pretty detailed specifications.
And this is also the back side.
Well, it's spectacular.
The pockets are crowded.
However, once you get used to it, it's really easy to use to secure things.
When you turn it over, you'll find another sack cloth hidden inside.
The back of this waist is also properly processed.
front side.
Not only the facing of the waistband, but also the back of the placket is all piped.
Since the pants have a wide hem, there is an adjuster on the inside of the hem.
Some of the styles are new to the brand, so even if you've seen them before, you'll be able to see a lot of them.
As a brand, there aren't many variations in the collection, but all of them are very rich clothes.
Furthermore, the more you use it, the more you can experience its performance.
Please take a look if you like.
