"100 silk spun" knit for the first time in a year

From tomorrow, the 22nd (Saturday), the new season of multiple brands will start. Irenisa has started the full lineup of this spring/summer collection. I've been to several exhibitions so far, but HERILL is finally able to work with me at this timing. From tomorrow, you can see tilt The authentics' upgraded clothes and the COMOLI, A.PRESSE, and Graphpaper lineups. And what I'm going to introduce today is a knit that was made for the first time just a year ago, and I've been wearing it since that time. FROM Tokushima. Knit from MOTHER HAND artisan. But it's different from the autumn/winter season. In autumn and winter, we mainly develop sweaters made with 75% super 100 fineness wool and 25% angora rabbit hair. This is the first one I made for the 2021SS season. The particularity of the knit, or the various difficulties, or rather, only those stores that are willing to accept that aspect of this knit, that we can give it to those customers, and that seem to like that kind of thing. A series that will be expanded. The material is 100% silk. But even in that silk, This knit is made up of 100% "silk spun". I had never encountered a 100% spun silk sweater until I encountered this MOTHER HAND artisan knit. Until then, I used to wear only shirts during the spring and summer season, but when I met this knitwear, it changed. Even though I run a clothing store, it's not often that I get to experience things that I didn't know or that I didn't know, and to be moved by clothes. It was a big change. Knit received an overwhelmingly positive impact. That is "100% spun silk" knit. Well, in the first place, silk spinning is Although it is a silk fiber, silk is roughly divided into four stages. ・Raw silk ・Silk thread ・Silk spinning ・Silk spun yarn These four. Silk is a thread that an insect (moth) spits out from its mouth while moving like an "∞". In addition, "silk fiber" is obtained by various processes such as boiling cocoons and refining. The most natural state is raw silk. It is called raw silk or wild silk in various ways. That's why it's uneven and has a lot of unevenness, and it looks wild and dull when it comes to fabric. Next is the silk thread. This is the situation that most people generally envision. Silk thread is made by processing raw silk called "seiren". Raw silk is a fiber whose main component is protein, but it is covered with a substance called sericin. By refining the raw silk, the sericin is removed and the substance called fibroin inside is exposed. This is generally the state of silk with a beautiful shine and texture. It might be good to think that "silk thread = fibroin". Rough though. And because this fibroin has a triangular cross-section, it has the same prism effect as a rainbow, and it looks very shiny. But silk is called the "Queen of Fibers". It is delicate and difficult to handle, so it has the meaning of "queen". When it comes to clothes that use this silk thread, I think wedding dresses and dresses worn by overseas celebrities at parties are used. That's why once you wear something like that, it needs to be cleaned at a high cost, and on top of that, it's not durable, so it wasn't made for everyday use. As a fiber, it's very high quality, but when you think about it as clothes, it's not suitable. So, this time it will appear next. "Kenboshi". This is dangerous. It depends on what kind of clothes it is, but I like this silk spinning when it comes to silk. The silk thread I mentioned earlier is quite thin and long. Cut the silk thread short. It is cut short, turned into short fibers, and spun into yarn. This is called "silk spinning". The advantage of silk spinning is that it can be used daily while maximizing the characteristics of silk fibers. But expensive. And it takes a little more care. However, when it is worn as clothes, especially when it is knitted with 100% spun silk this time, the benefits for the wearer are enormous. Also, the last stage, "Kenbochuushi", is a by-product of making silk yarn for this knit. Put simply. Of course, it has its merits, but it becomes a little stiffer, the threads are uneven, and it looks dull. By the way, when it comes to 100% silk knits, I think most of them are made of this silk spun yarn. That's why the hurdle of 100 silk spinning this time is very high. It is MOTHER HAND artisan who makes it into a wonderful shape. MOTHER HAND artisan HUY material _ SILK 100% color_WREN size_4,5,6 this. As mentioned above, the raw material is 100% spun silk. Mr. and Mrs. Nagai made it in Tokushima using a "household" hand knitting machine. Well, first of all, the coloring is a color named WREN. I don't know how to read "ren" or "woolen", but from among the huge selection of silk thread color variations, I simulated over and over again in my head, spinning round and round, spinning, This is it! This is the coloring I asked Mr. Nagai for. This kind of thing, when it is woven and completed, it looks like the color is subtly different. I make an image. So, this time, the flashing color is this. A khaki base with shades of brown and gray. This is what I was aiming for. But the brown is stronger than I thought, so the score is much higher than I imagined. Dense silk spinning. And the natural but overwhelming brilliance of silk at this stage. This is only silk among fibers, and even that silk cannot be produced without either silk thread or silk spun yarn. In addition to its luster, it promises a transcendent level of skin contact. If I wear this and the touch on my skin doesn't satisfy me, I don't have any more clothes to prepare. The smoothness of the masterpiece and the weak static electricity peculiar to silk make it close to the upper body. And then, the high affinity to the skin due to the exposure of fibroin. In terms of drinks, it goes beyond Pocari Sweat to OS-1. Wearing this, everyone was surprised. Everyone. Well, as I said earlier about the material, Mr. and Mrs. Nagai of MOTHER HAND artisan who knit using that thread are amazing. This is God God. As far as I know now, there is no one who can make things of the same level. The reason why there are no knits that use 100% spun silk is because of the difficulty of producing them. It is incredibly soft and cannot be mass-produced industrially. That's why, as a brand, we spent a lot of time creating and creating it over and over and over again. Mr. and Mrs. Nagai have been making only knitwear for more than 10 years as a brand, so they are making the most of their accumulated know-how. Of course, just like the fall and winter sweaters, we use a hand weft knitting machine to produce them, but the material is 100% silk, and unlike the cold season, the innerwear will be T-shirts and tank tops. Sometimes, the matching of materials and details reaches its peak. I wonder if last year's one is about June? I have worn them and they are always super comfortable. It breathes and is always paradise inside your clothes. That's the best thing about the spring/summer season. The knitted fabric is tenjiku knitting as usual. Therefore, the edge of the fabric is curled, but it is never cut off. The edges of the fabric are also neatly processed. This base model, HUY, is different from the autumn/winter model that we carry in our shop, and it is designed with a higher neck, but there is no linking (sewing) on the neck due to the change of fabric. So great around the neck. Front body. The armholes used when knitting the front body reduce the number of stitches, and the "reduced stitches" are still alive. The direction of the knitted fabric changes at the shoulder. By switching the direction of this knitted fabric, the feeling of wearing is further improved. Then continue to the back body. As the back body is woven, the armholes disappear, so the number of stitches increases. This is the "additional eyes". A knit that does not have any change in the body from front to back. Body side and armhole only. A design that eliminates seams to the limit by linking only the two necessary parts. The same goes for sleeves. As for the sleeves, the armholes and cuffs have different widths. Usually, the arm is formed by cutting a previously knitted fabric according to a pattern and sewing it together. However, without using MOTHER HAND artisan's knitting patterns, I have a design in my head, and I knit according to that design. Therefore, from the shoulders to the cuffs, the shape is effective and it becomes thinner. this. Enlargement of the inner sleeve. Can you see how the texture of the knitted fabric is getting more and more centered? Usually on this back there is a seam linking. This is the back of the inner sleeve. Such an ultra-flat structure. When forming the sleeves, the stitches are reduced one by one to create a sharp arm. There are no seams on the underside of the sleeves, so there are no loose seams. This is one of the factors that makes it so comfortable. back. The armholes are all hand-linked on the sleeves and body. In other words, it's all hand sewn. In order to make it easier to move the arm without restricting the movement of the arm when worn, the armholes are made with more stitches on the sleeves than on the body, but we sewed them by hand so that they would not look unnatural. I'm allocating After a daunting task, the sleeves and body are integrated. The front side is slightly fuzzy, but the back side is more glossy than the front side. I'm shooting in a place where there is natural light, but the silk spun yarn naturally shines and shines, and it can't be helped. The sides of the body are sewn together using a linking tool. Compared to T-shirts, which have a round body and no side seams, it is less likely to skew when washed, which is an advantage. As I said earlier, there is nothing excessively hitting the neck either. A knit that is beautiful no matter where you look at the back. A luster that cannot be hidden. (back) This is the table. I feel like the back is more glossy, but the front also has a high-quality shine that is unique to the material. The edges of both the hem and sleeves have thicker stitches, which are then processed and curled. back. It doesn't have ribs, and it looks simple, but I think that makes the material and the level of construction stand out. Then there is the color. The quality of the materials and the fineness of the craftsmanship are on a level that surpasses that of humans, but the likes and dislikes of colors are inevitably individual preferences. I can't say anything, but I asked for a coloring that doesn't really exist in the world. It's a combination of khaki, brown, and gray, so I believe there are people who like it. I'll leave it up to you how to coordinate. Because the level of knitting is unbelievable. And this knit. It's 100% silk spun, but it's MOTHER HAND artisan. Of course, washing at home is OK. Just be a little more careful here. First, silk has a unique static electricity. So when you put it on and especially when you take it off, take it off slowly. Well, if you like crackling electricity, just take it off. But this static electricity is also connected to comfort. Also, as usual, there is a tag that comes with the knit, but I recommend hand washing as per the instructions. While saying that, I also put it in the washing machine. To be honest, if you put it in the net and wash it, there is no problem. However, please use the washing machine at your own risk. Hand wash or machine wash won't shrink as much as wool. It may be good to think that it hardly shrinks. However, silk has the characteristic of wrinkling easily when it gets wet with water and dries. Therefore, when washed and dried, it looks "worn", probably because the material is soft. I hope you can rest assured that it is not really twisted, but if you are concerned about its appearance, please give it an iron steam for a moment. If you do that, it will be back to normal in one shot. Well, I iron, sometimes I don't. I've washed the clothes I wore last year about 10 times by hand and in the washing machine, but I don't feel any negative points from that. However, it is certain that the only thing that happens is that it looks like it is twisted after washing. Please allow me to be there. I think everyone will be impressed with the comfort. Last year's model had such concerns, so I decided not to sell it on the online store because I wanted to let people who could talk directly with me at the store pick it up. However, after wearing it myself for a year, I decided that there would be no problem for people all over the country who choose our store, so this time it is also posted on the online store. It may be good for those who have been wearing only shirts during spring and summer. A shirt with The CLASIK and this knit are a set that pleases the upper body. By the way, The CLASIK shirts have only one size 46 left and two size 48 in stock, so I would be happy if you could consider that as well. Starting tomorrow, the 22nd (Saturday), the new season of various brands will start, including this knitwear, so please look forward to it.
