The nonnotte event started on Saturday the 10th.
On the 10th (Sat) and 11th (Sun), nonnotte designer Sugihara was also in the store, and the "LT" special edition items that had been prepared for these days sold out in size 4 within 5 minutes of opening, and size 5 within about 30 minutes.Thank you to all the customers who visited the store.
The new season of nonnotte will only be sold in-store for a while.
We are planning to have it listed on our online store around the end of the Obon holidays or thereafter, but if you are interested, please contact us directly.
And today I have an announcement to make.
An order event for Yamauchi's 2025 Spring/Summer collection will be held over three days from Friday, August 16th to Sunday, August 18th.
Up until now, I have talked about many things and done many things with Mr. Yamauchi from Yamauchi.
Starting with a custom-made salt-shrunk linen shirt, the collection also includes a shirt made from deadstock plain-weave silk, three custom-made yak wool items, a wide variety of Hakomura tie-dyed shorts, and three types of clothing made from the ultra-material "Ferreira mohair" by Kuzuryo Kushi.
So far, five special events have been held.
I myself have been buying for Casanova & Co. for 15 seasons.
This year's Fall/Winter 2024 season will mark the 15th time that Yamauchi's collection will be featured at CASANOVA&CO.
"Yamauchi" was the first brand I bought into.
In a way, to me, CASANOVA&CO is a projection of myself.
Yamauchi was the first brand I bought into, and can be said to be the origin of the current CASANOVA&CO.
I think this is where it all began.
I even felt it was my mission to spread the word about this person's clothing.
However, over the past 15 seasons, Yamauchi has never had all of his collections on display in stores.
Or rather, I had no intention of doing that at all.
I think the brand is holding pre-order events at other stores that stock its products.
I've been talking about this with Mr. Yamauchi for several years now.
However, I still feel that there is some "aesthetic" in displaying items that I have personally selected, so I have not held such order meetings.
But after talking with Yamauchi-san again, I decided on this one.
All of Yamauchi's collections for the Spring/Summer 2025 season will be displayed.
This is a photograph I had previously taken of the items displayed in the brand's atelier.
Yamauchi Akihiro is the very person who is symbolized by this phrase.
Although the delivery date was sometimes delayed.
However, what is certain is that they continue to make reliable clothes.
I wrote about this on my blog a while ago, but when I was in my early twenties, I would write things like this on a piece of paper and post it in a visible place in my house.
"I hope to be able to convey the value of truly valuable clothing and share it with many people."
and.
That feeling hasn't changed at all to this day, and it's what's most important to me.
My life has changed dramatically since I discovered clothing and through clothing.
I think this is because the makers put their heart and soul into making the clothes, and the clothes themselves are imbued with their "philosophy," "traces," and "technology," which I experience with my own mind and body.
It's fun to coordinate clothes and mix and match them in different ways.
But it's much more fun to dig as deep as possible into and learn as much as you can about the piece of clothing in front of you.
And it should be a learning experience.
The brand that taught me and gave me that opportunity was "Yamauchi."
This is the first time that our store will be offering the full lineup of Yamauchi's collection.
It's only a limited period of three days, but all of 25SS will be on display from Friday the 16th to Sunday the 18th.
We accept personal orders upon request.
Please see Yamauchi's official brand website for details of the collection.
I think the delivery date is probably written on each item.
An incredibly detailed and stunning complete collection.
If you like it, please come and visit us.
Mr. Yamauchi will not be in the store. Lol
We look forward to your visit.
