The limited-time order event for DAN TOMIMATSU.
At our store, which is almost exclusively visited by male customers, DAN TOMIMATSU has consistently been offered as a "jewelry" option.
While we usually showcase a selection that can be taken home immediately, this is just a small portion of the brand's offerings.
Especially with ring sizes, it's impossible to see a wide lineup, so finding something that fits perfectly on your desired finger is quite miraculous.
In that sense, I would be very happy if you could make good use of order events like this one.
Although it hasn't been long since I started working as a buyer, I've been actively engaging with creators in Japan, regardless of genre or category.
Whether we carry their products or not, I try to see as many things as possible that various people have poured their heart and soul into creating.
However, when it comes to jewelry, it's different.
Honestly, I'm not actively looking for new brands. Perhaps I'm a failed buyer.
Of course, it's because DAN TOMIMATSU stands out as exceptionally cool, but even more so, it's because it deeply resonates with my own sensibility.
It's for the same reason that we refer to DAN TOMIMATSU's creations as "jewelry" rather than "accessories."
If changing rings and bracelets depending on your outfit is an "accessory" act in the sense of adornment, then I believe that wearing them habitually with a feeling close to a "talisman" is "jewelry."
I myself wear both DAN TOMIMATSU and the custom-made ring "BESPEAK" that Tomimatsu-san created, and I truly feel that they possess a very introspective quality.
In particular, since BESPEAK was made as a wedding ring, wearing it is generally considered a social act, but beyond that, it has a profound effect on my own mental state.
It's not the kind of thing that makes you feel safe or gives you courage when you wear it; it's more like wearing it puts you in your proper place.
This is precisely what Tomimatsu-san's phrase, "design that affects the heart," expresses.
I really like this phrase.
If humans have a sense beyond the five senses, I believe it comes from the "heart," not from knowledge or information.
Therefore, while superficial coolness and comfort are fundamental, sensing whether it seamlessly harmonizes with the heart is, I believe, the ultimate sixth sense based on experience and intuition.
Sometimes you can feel it in an instant, and sometimes it takes a year or two, or even longer, for it to penetrate your heart and lead to a real sense of it.
That's why I think it's very meaningful to hold this DAN TOMIMATSU order event every year.
Something that didn't resonate with me last year might now feel completely natural.
While clothing also has a similar aspect, it's precisely because "jewelry" uses "metal," which exists on a much longer timeline than clothing, that we can delicately confront these personal changes and emotional shifts.
To that end, the DAN TOMIMATSU collection, though not dramatically, gradually grows each year.
Perhaps about one new piece per year.
However, if the design merely pursued superficial coolness, it would be possible to create new items one after another. But it's precisely because they prioritize "affecting the heart."
Therefore, that pace is inevitable.
However, I believe that's appropriate and healthy.
Because everything is too rapid-cycle now.
Despite being DAN TOMIMATSU, with the full cooperation of the brand, we've always been able to present the largest lineup ever, and I believe this time we'll surpass that record again.

The brand's origin, "UNBOUND," including the Rubber Band Bracelet.
For those who already own various DAN TOMIMATSU pieces, it's also a return to the origin.
Tomimatsu-san, originally from Nara Prefecture, revived ancient techniques for "ENLINK."
We've introduced this series, wrapped with K18YG thread, before, but this time it's not limited to that.
The "Platinum Enlink," wrapped with PT900 as a thread, makes its debut.
I think many of you will love this.
The "MATERIA" collection preserves the ephemeral beauty of the material itself.
In a sense, the MATERIA collection embodies the underlying philosophy of all DAN TOMIMATSU, and there are new additions from here as well.

I ordered a BESPEAK ring about a year ago, and my ring and my wife's ring have different thicknesses.
