24SS SALE pickup "amachi. Erosion Line Shorts"
Hello!
This is Nakayama from CASANOVA&CO.
Over the past few days, Okayama has been experiencing summer-like weather with scorching sunshine and humid air, making people wonder, "Huh? Is the rainy season here?"
On the other hand, it feels like, "Summer has finally arrived!"
To be honest, I find it most comfortable to spend the summer in a cool, air-conditioned room as much as possible, and I sometimes think that the sound of cicadas makes the heat feel even more.
However, I do like the natural changes and events that reflect the seasons.
Cherry blossom viewing, carp streamers, fireflies, cumulonimbus clouds, portable shrines, New Year's, etc.
The same goes for clothes; I especially love clothes that are specifically suited to midsummer or midwinter.
Of course, I don't dislike clothes that can be worn throughout the year because that means we spend more time with them, but I also like the exclusivity of clothes that are only suitable for a specific time of year.
Today I would like to introduce you to some clothes that have that special feeling.
Amachi.
Erosion Line Shorts
color _ Black
size_4,5,6
Here are the shorts.
Speaking of midsummer pants...
There is simply less surface area of the foot covered by fabric.
That's why it feels so open.
I feel that shorts, a type of clothing that is designed specifically for midsummer, are something special in themselves.
These amachi. shorts have some unique features that are only possible with these shorts.
Distinctive drawcord.
The material is silk.
Not only is there a drawstring to tighten the waist, but it actually hangs down from the hem as well.
This drawcord.
It's not just drooping.
In fact, these shorts are made up of two layers of fabric only on the front side (left side in the photo).
Therefore, the drawstring at the hem allows the overlapping fabric to create a ripple, giving it a three-dimensional look.
Let's compare them
Using the drawstring to create a wavy look lifts the fabric and gives the outline a rounded, organic look.
This specification really gives the impression of amachi. style clothing design.
The Erosion Line Shorts are for the 23SS season, and the theme is "Regarding Wave."
Literally "About the waves."
This season focuses on natural phenomena such as ocean waves that appear on the water's surface, rocks that have been eroded by waves over a long period of time, and wind, which is closely related to waves.
The word "Erosion" in the name of these shorts literally means "erosion."
I don't remember if it was when I was in elementary school or junior high school, but I learned about a natural phenomenon called "erosion" in a science class about geological strata.
A phenomenon in which rocks and landforms are eroded and changed by wind, waves, and water flow over a long period of time.
Parts of the terrain that are easily eroded change quickly, resulting in natural, organic shapes. In the case of rocks, as they are eroded from their rugged, angular shape, the edges disappear and they become rounded.
Just like the random shapes that are created by erosion, I think the changes that occur due to the drawstring mentioned earlier are also a result of the random shapes that were created naturally by the fabric being brought together.
These shorts have been designed based on how changes caused by natural phenomena affect clothing.
The fabric used has a textured feel, and as mentioned earlier, it also has a drawstring, so it really does have a strong presence when worn.
It goes particularly well with linen-based fabrics and relaxed fabrics that have been washed to give them natural wrinkles, rather than with fabrics that have a strong, beautiful appearance.
This time I paired it with SEAN SUEN's bundle dyeing shirt and COMOLI's muslin pullover shirt.
First up is SEAN SUEN's bundle dyeing shirt.
Next up is the muslin pullover shirt from COMOLI.
I combined patterned and solid colored clothes to create a strong look, and while they blend in well with the mood of each top without being too dominated by it, the shorts still have a presence that draws the eye to the outfit.
Even if you simply pair it with a T-shirt, the shorts will still stand out.
These shorts will be the most worn during the upcoming midsummer season.
These are clothes that can only be enjoyed for a very limited period of time, which makes them extremely appealing as seasonal wear that will make you look forward to next summer.
