I heard some spoilers about the future from Mr. Kakoi and Mr. Okamoto, and it seems WONDER ROOM still has many tricks up its sleeve. lol
It seems that the fabrics for up to around the 10th collection have already been decided... or not.
It's amazing that there are so many things they want to create.

Today, we're featuring calmlence.
It actually arrived around the end of July.
You may have already seen it in store, and the wool-silk easy pants are already down to the last one, but from calmlence today, we're introducing the "white shirt" and the "three-piece suit."
These are clothes that can play a universal role in your wardrobe, exuding the calmlence mood while also having a grounded, solid feel.
Let me introduce each of them.

Undoubtedly, a white shirt.
No matter who looks at it, it's a white shirt.
However, I think you can feel the overwhelming presence of calmlence's white shirt even from this photo.
The material is 100% silk.
It's spun silk.
140-count spun silk broadcloth.
Broadcloth itself is not at all unusual for white shirts, or shirts in general, but I haven't seen it made with "spun silk" very often.
When it comes to plain white shirts, there's no hiding weaving imperfections, and with plain weave, it's hard to get thickness, so most silk plain weave shirt fabrics are thin and flimsy.
In that regard, I think twill silk is more commonly seen.
However, this original calmlence fabric is tightly woven and has a thickness suitable for year-round wear.
Although the top button is open in the photo, it's designed to look good with a tie as well.
Among calmlence shirts, I think this is the most universal, and therefore the most luxurious shirt.
Kumagai-san's hand-washed & sun-dried texture and the luster of silk.
By giving the fabric a slightly relaxed fit, it creates an exquisite mood that is neither too serious nor too flashy, neither too stiff nor too casual.
If I may say so without fear of misunderstanding, it's just right.
Of course, the material is outstanding, and the tailoring is impeccable, but it's not at all pushy and feels very natural.
I think white shirts, the better they get, tend to deviate from everyday life, but with this white shirt, I can enthusiastically slurp curry udon or Jiro-style ramen.
It's that natural.
If it gets dirty or sweaty, just wash it gently.
Even so, sooner or later, the collar and cuffs will get dirty, but I believe it's as unhealthy to abhor that as it is to desire immortality, so I want to accept the natural process of it getting dirty.
But I do think there will come a time when you'll want a clean shirt again.
I believe that Mr. Kumagai will surely have something wonderful prepared for us then.

A notched lapel jacket, one-pleated trousers, and a vest.
This three-piece suit has been continued since the brand's debut.
Although it holds a universal position, it still strongly exudes the characteristic calmlence mood.
The material here is 100% wool.
By combining S-twist and Z-twist yarns, which twist in opposite directions during the spinning process, and arranging them in the warp and weft.
Since each is a highly twisted yarn, washing causes the yarn to untwist, creating a bumpy texture on the fabric surface.
With this bumpy texture and the dry feel unique to highly twisted yarn, this three-piece suit is perfect for spring, even though it's an autumn/winter collection.
So, with this three-piece suit, you're ready for any party, any season.
I've never been invited to a party though.
The jacket always has a hook, so you can fasten just the hook and wear it with the collar up.
The other day, at the calmlence 26SS exhibition, I asked Mr. Kumagai, feigning ignorance, "Why do you put this hook on it?"
"I've always liked wearing tailored jackets with the collar up," he said.
Mr. Kumagai replied.
A simple and perfect answer.
It hit me. lol
If he says so, I want to wear it that way. lol
The pants, as always, have adjusters on the sides.
The interior is also, as always, impeccably crafted.
The hold around the waist is exceptional.
Both the vest and jacket have the usual flower jacquard lining.
The vest has five buttons on the front and pockets.
This time, the back body is also made of the outer fabric, making it easier to wear the vest on its own.
This is a welcome point.
Three-piece suit.
Of course, wear it with a "white shirt" underneath.
This is a universal outfit for men to the point where it's not about liking or disliking it, but if there's a norm for such universal attire, I feel the dry allure of calmlence within that norm.
It's obvious, but there are no gaps no matter which way you look at it from 360 degrees.
However, this three-piece suit has absolutely no stiffness that would make it feel like a "costume."
Even if you're at Okayama Station, no one will think, "Oh, they must be coming back from a wedding,"
And if you're walking through AEON, no one will think, "Are they going to a party?" Absolutely not.
They'll just think, "Wow, that person is incredibly stylish."
However, I believe it certainly has the "flair" to handle such glamorous occasions as well.
To dress it down the calmlence way, it's like this:
Fasten the hook, stand up the collar, and open two of the working cuff buttons to roll up the sleeves.
And also open the shirt's cuff buttons, and even hook one side of the collar onto the vest.
In terms of dress code, this might be a big no-no, but our daily lives are casual, or rather, street-style.
Of course, you can also simply wear the jacket and pants.
I think a two-piece suit with a relaxed feel is also good.
Now, the vest and pants.
At this point, it's impossible for the pants alone not to be appealing.
All patterns are super attractive.
A three-piece suit that expands what you want to do.
I want to do this, I want to do that, I want more, I want even more.
For overall sizing, I (178cm, 60kg) am wearing size 2 for everything.
My personal calmlence pants are size 1, but I choose sizes differently depending on the shape and fabric, so please feel free to consult with us in-store or by email about that.
